Another classic from the Zwanzger brewery is undoubtedly their wheat beer. While not quite as widespread in Franconia as it is a little further south in neighboring Bavaria, this amber-colored beer specialty impresses with its creamy mouthfeel and smooth texture. Subtle banana notes with a hint of clove in the finish, along with slightly less carbonation than many other classic wheat beers, round out the drinking experience. With the construction of our new fermentation and storage cellar, we've created a space where state-of-the-art technology protects the maturation process without accelerating it. Here, the beer receives the most important ingredient, one that's often missing today: time. We age our classic beers for at least eight weeks! The result is a freshness and purity that makes every sip an experience. Twelve generations. One passion.
