Tropical Thunder is a modern West Coast Pale Ale that combines the classic bitterness of the style with the intense fruitiness of the latest generation of New Zealand hops. In the glass, it presents itself in a brilliant golden yellow, typical of a West Coast Pale Ale. It is crowned with a stable, finely pored white head. Even upon pouring, the beer releases an explosive aroma. Thanks to the use of Nectaron and Superdelic hops, intense tropical notes dominate: Nectaron: Delivers massive aromas of ripe pineapple, passion fruit, and peach. Superdelic: Complements the profile with nuances of red berries, candied fruit, and a subtle citrus freshness. In the background, a discreet, clean malt sweetness (crackers or light bread) resonates, supporting the hop foreground. Taste & Mouthfeel: The initial taste is crisp and light. On the tongue, the "tropical storm" of mango and citrus unfolds once again. Unlike a New England IPA, however, the body here is dry, and the texture is clean and hoppy.
