Not many breweries have a complete history that spans more than 600 years. The first records of the brewery actually date back to 1386. The first Riegele to wield the scepter in the Riegele brewery was Sebastian Riegele, who acquired the brewery in 1884. Since then, the brewing tradition has been passed down from generation to generation, along with the values of the (Priller-)Riegele family. It is not without reason that they are proud of 28 generations of passionate brewing. In addition to their beer, the Riegeles are also known for their social commitment. Under the motto "From here. For here!" the family supports Augsburg clubs, young people and charitable causes. In addition, the beer is produced exclusively in the region to support the local job market. In addition to all their efforts, protecting our environment is also important to the Riegeles. The company structure is based on seven core values that the Riegeles pass on from generation to generation. These include love for tradition and homeland, respectful treatment of our nature and, of course, impeccable quality.

As one of the oldest breweries in the world, we can justifiably claim to have centuries of brewing experience and a wealth of specialist knowledge.
