The first smoked beer from the legendary Huppendorfer brewery!
The Grasser brewery, known in Franconia and the world for its good Huppendorfer beer, has expanded its wide range of the finest beers with a true classic: The traditional smoked beer is not only very popular in Franconia and is the perfect addition to the repertoire of Franconian brewery. The Grachäds comes in a classic guise and is dressed in a simple label that is reminiscent of long-forgotten, golden times.
The special brew flows into the glass in a wonderful red-brown shade of copper and is adorned with a small crown of slightly tinted foam. A strong scent of smoked, oven-fresh bread, roasted nuts and dark caramel fills the nose and tempts you to take the first sip. This reveals a strong body with round aromas and mild carbonic acid. The distinctive smoky aroma is accompanied by melt-in-the-mouth caramel, bread dough, smoked ham and black pepper. A slightly burnt note and a hint of grassy, bitter hops that increase towards the finish cleverly round off the play of aromas. Grachäds from Huppendorf is a wonderfully balanced smoked beer that should delight smokers and smokers alike.
