The beer experts of the world do not agree on many topics. Each of them prefers a different beer style, each has their own favorite beer, each has different opinions on hop varieties, raw material compositions and brewing techniques and each thinks that he or she knows best which piece of brewing is the most masterful. But there is one topic on which there is surprising agreement: beer glasses. On the one hand, the experts agree that you should drink absolutely every beer from a glass and not directly from the can or bottle. On the other hand, many professionals share the view that the Teku tasting glass is a vessel that shows pretty much every beer in the best light.
The Teku glass comes from the Italian glass manufacturer Rastal and was designed by two beer experts. It stands on a small, round, stable base and has a narrow, long stem. A voluminous body sits on the elegant stem, which extends outwards in the lower area and then tapers off again over the two upper thirds. A small, outward-curved lip made of thin-walled glass closes the shape. Due to its design, the Teku glass is suitable for tasting a wide variety of beer styles and is used by the judges of countless international competitions.
A beautiful example is the Teku tasting glass Weiherer Bier.
