The Urhell from Fürst Carl is a variation of their popular Pilsner : It is made according to the original Pilsner brewing method and inspires with its subtly balanced aroma and a great hop kick.
The hops for this and all other beers from the Ellingen Castle Brewery come from our own cultivation. In this way, the brewery can guarantee the excellent quality of the raw material and also avoids long transport routes. Win win. For the Urhell, the two hops medium early and gold are used and processed into a crunchy beer in a long, gentle building process.
The beer is presented in a light gold tone in the glass and has a stately crown of snow-white foam on its shiny, crystal-clear body. From the foamy splendor, a scent of creamy blossom honey and freshly harvested hops rises into the nose and tempts you to take the first sip. This reveals a lean beer with a great balance of hops and malt. Soft notes of spicy honey and gently roasted malt caress the palate and form a solid base for the hops. This enriches the play of aromas with notes of tangy citrus fruits, which give the beer both an elegant lightness and freshness. A fine bitterness runs like a red thread through the drinking pleasure and increases in the finish to a brilliant finale that makes you want more.
The Urhell is available in 0.33 liter and 0.5 liter bottles.
