We would be happy about a gift like that too!
With the Anniversator, the guys from Munich Brew Mafia gave their friends from Tap House Munich a fabulous anniversary gift for their three-year anniversary. In honor of Munich’s beer pub, the brewers at Munich Brew Mafia have created a beer that is very festive thanks to the dark notes of chocolate and coffee. The impressive 8.0% alcohol content also contributes to the fact that Anniversator is more of a festival beer than a normal bock beer.
Bock beers are inherently strong, full-bodied beers. The Munich Brew Mafia has gone one better and turned the intense beer into a true beer specialty. Anniversator presents itself in a deep, dark mahogany tone in the glass and forms a small, slightly browned, hazelnut-colored head of foam. When pouring, wonderful scents fill your nose: soft caramel meets roasted malt, a touch of dark chocolate and a hint of vanilla are also added. The initial taste reveals a whole range of malty flavor components, which are accompanied by a fine hop bitterness. Delicately melting chocolate, spicy licorice, soft caramel and a touch of dried fruit pamper the palate. Anniversator has a complex flavor that ends in a long-lasting bitter finish.
The Munich Brew Mafia has outdone itself with this creation: A complex, multi-layered beer with a well-integrated 8.0% vol. that we enjoy not only on festive occasions.
