Dolly is a polarizing name. Everyone knows Dolly the sheep, who was the first mammal ever to be cloned. And most of us have also heard the gentle country sounds of another dolly. Not known for her ears is another dolly that shines with completely different qualities. But our dolly has nothing to do with horizontal business. Unless you indulge in one too many. Then it can happen that you fall off the beer bench and spend the night stretched out underneath it.
Dolly is the black sheep from the illustrious collection of the Freiburg brewing collective. Black sheep because Dolly – like her prominent colleagues – likes to step out of line. With the full power of four hop varieties, Dolly brings out the hard guns. Their weapons are of German-American origin and have a whole arsenal of hoppy flavors up their sleeves. Dangerously drinkable, Dolly disguises the scandalous 6.9% ABV and charms those around her with an explosion of floral and citrus-fresh notes. The crowning glory of their performance is a spicy, crisp finish that makes you want to go for the next round.
