Number four in the illustrious round of the Bone Hand Series by Sudden Death is Love It or Haze It. The double cold-hopped Double IPA is just as hoppy as its colleagues: The juicy beer is brewed with three types of hops, which are added at different stages of the brewing process. With 8.0% alcohol content, the IPA makes a big difference and the bitter units should not be underestimated.
Love It or Haze It flows, according to its name, cloudy into the glass and shines in shimmering copper gold. A good amount of slightly tinted foam crowns the beer and exudes an enticing scent of tropical fruits and citrus-fresh hops. The Double Dryhopped Double IPA is particularly fruity on the tongue: like a tropical tidal wave, juicy notes of mango, passion fruit, pomegranate, grapefruit and lemongrass flood the tongue and the palate. The fruity play of aromas is complemented by a whole range of other hop aromas: Spicy pine resin stands out the most and goes wonderfully with the crisp bitterness, which increases to a clean, dry note until the finish. Love It or Haze It inspires with an incredibly creamy, smooth mouthfeel and is a true hop festival in the mouth.
