The American city of New Orleans is located on the 30th degree of latitude and the 90th degree of longitude. It attracts countless tourists year after year with its easygoing flair, eclectic cuisine, lively music scene and exciting nightlife. But the residents of New Orleans also love their city.
The Abita brewery is very close to the metropolis and is proud of its homeland. The brewers celebrate their love with a beer named after the coordinates of New Orleans. 30° 90° is a Pale Lager brewed with Pilsner malt and dry hopped with the Cascade hop variety.
The dark golden beer flows almost clearly into the glass and is crowned with a fluffy layer of foam, which dissolves quite quickly and leaves a delicate veil of lace. The unmistakable scent of freshly mown grass rises from the golden body and mixes with a hint of citrus. The first sip reveals a subtly balanced beer that combines hops and malt into a harmonious whole. The taste profile is made up of robust grain notes, bread crust, floral hops and juicy citrus notes. A skilful addition is the clear bitterness, which cleanly concludes the beer enjoyment at the end and awakens the desire for another can. Perfect for relaxed evenings!
