The Hazy Discovery series from Pinta is a beery journey through the most beautiful spots on earth. The brewers live out their cosmopolitan dreams by dedicating hoppy creations to their favorite cities and invite you to see the world through their eyes. So far the journey has been to Tallinn and Kiev , now there is a stopover in Latvia’s capital Riga. All beers are hop-intensive masterpieces, some of which were created in collaboration with brewers from the respective country.

The partner for the Riga-inspired beer was the Latvian brewery Ārpus , which supported Pinta with energy, local color and hops from Latvia. Together, the resourceful brewers have produced a Double Dry Hopped India Pale Ale that revolves around the Riwaka and Mosaic hop varieties. The green gold gives the DDH IPA sparkling notes of yuzu, kumquat and pink grapefruit.

Hazy Discovery Riga flows into the glass in a densely cloudy honey yellow and forms a small, fleeting head of foam. When you open the can, a tropical breeze blows in your face. A hint of hops makes the first olfactory impression perfect and tempts you to take the first sip. Riga’s Hommage floods the mouth with a juicy surge of exotic fruit, combining grapefruit and other citrus fruits with rich malt, green hops and a harmonious bitterness.
