The Greek brewery Septem dedicated its beer production to a simple scheme: a separate beer was created for each day of the week. After the brewers had developed seven beers, there were still so many good ideas left that they were able to make the 8th Day IPA. If you want to stick strictly to the principle, you have two options: Either you drink the designated beer every day and only the 8th Day IPA the following week, or you simply drink two beers on Sunday!
The cloudy beer in dark amber has a strong character not only thanks to its 7.0% alcohol and 65 bitter units. The wonderfully tropical aromas of mandarin, citrus, lychee, mango and peach, in their fruity entirety, create a wonderfully fresh taste palette. The beautiful, hoppy bitterness perfectly balances the fruit basket with its heavy sweetness and harmonizes wonderfully with the rich, aromatic taste.
