Aurora is not only a particularly beautiful name, which is particularly common in Italy, but also the Latin word for dawn. At the same time, Aurora is also a Greek goddess and the scientific name for the northern lights. In any case, the word has something to do with (divine) light and describes things of improbable beauty.
This is exactly why the team at Ten Men Brewery chose this title for their New England IPA. The wonderful brew bears an abstract version of the northern lights in mystical green on the label and is otherwise very beautiful to look at: The beer specialty from the Ukraine presents itself in a rich, cloudy light gold in the glass and is adorned with a fleeting veil of snow-white foam. The hoppy variety of Idaho 7, Citra, El Dorado and Mosaic Cryo is already reflected in the scent and sends out an enticing cloud of tropical fruits. The initial sip continues the pleasure and ensnares the tongue with notes of juicy pineapple, ripe mango and tangy citrus fruits. A dry, mild bitterness elegantly cushions the fruity sweetness.
Despite the relatively tame 4.8% alcohol content, Ten Men’s NEIPA delivers a whole lot of flavor and character!
