"Don’t drink and drive!" is a catchy slogan that advocates responsible consumption of alcohol and speaks out against driving after a beer after work. The Ukrainian brewery has transformed the motto into a completely different principle. Their latest India Pale Ale is called Drive&Dive and takes drinking out of the equation entirely. It is unclear whether they are now advocating that instead of drinking, one should drive and dive or that one should neither drive nor dive after drinking alcohol. The label poses further mysteries: it shows a gentleman in a hat and suit driving a motorized goldfish with a windscreen and steering wheel through a jungle of creepers.
No matter how you interpret the title of this brew, you should definitely take a sip or two while pondering it.
The mysterious beer was brewed with double malt, rolled oats and Mosaic hops. It brings a wonderfully creamy, non-slip texture to the glass and enchants with its rich grain yellow and airy foam crown. Scent and taste are a successful mixture of citrus fruits, mango, pineapple, freshly mown grass, passion fruit and intense spice. A strong, long-lasting bitterness skilfully complements the play of aromas.
