Hardly a month is as wet and gray as November. For days, thick drops fall from the cloudy sky, the wind blows the cold, damp air into jacket sleeves and collars and creates an uncomfortable atmosphere. Clouds of mist drift over the rain-soaked streets and a gray veil dulls all the colors into a muddy pulp.
Not a month to dedicate a beer to!
The brewery Kuehn Kunz Rosen from Mainz dared to do it anyway. But instead of paying homage to the darkest of all months, November Rain is rather a ray of light at the end of the autumn tunnel. The Hazy Double IPA shines in the warming golden shine of the sun and not only ensures a good mood with its cheerful color: the 8.5% strong beer warms from the inside and also tastes like better, sunnier times. Three kinds of malt and a generous addition of the finest oat flakes give the summer-fresh beer a soft, velvety mouthfeel and a touch of sweetness that complements the fruit aromas wonderfully.
November Rain shines in the color of the May light in the glass and crowns itself with a large amount of thick, white foam. The scent of a tropical fruit basket rises from the head of the foam and invites you to take a first sip. This reveals what the nose has already perceived: A refreshing wave of fruit floods the mouth and creates a relaxed mood with notes of citrus and other exotic fruits.
