For their latest beer, the Munich Brew Mafia has teamed up with friends from the Varionica brewery in Croatia. With combined forces, the brewing colleagues have created a beast for which a whole mountain of fresh raspberries and fine cider yeast were used. The result of this effort is Mr. Pink Monster, a birthday beer for the 5th anniversary of the Varionica Brewery and a Raspberry Ale that lives up to its name.

Mr. Pink Monster flows into the glass in dark amber and shows beautiful, raspberry-red reflections when exposed to light. A fleeting veil of white foam crowns the beer and soon leaves space for the heavenly scent. The olfactory first impression takes you straight to grandma’s garden: an irresistible scent of freshly picked raspberries spreads in the nose and combines with a hint of citrus, a little caramel and fine herbs to form a seductive mixture. The initial drink floods your mouth with a full load of raspberries. The wonderful raspberry aroma spreads juicy, sweet, incredibly fruity and summery. The cider yeast brings the delicate acidity of green apples into play, and you can also taste fine citrus fruit, sweet caramel malt and a touch of hops.
