Foxes are smart, that's common knowledge. Almost no one knows that foxes can also be delicious and vegetarian. Piet from Braukollektiv Freiburg is a fox in pink fur and also a delicious IPA.
Luckily, no one in our part of the world (and probably nowhere else in the world) comes up with the idea of eating a fox. However, we strongly advise you to give Piet the fox a taste. Piet is an India Pale Ale from the Freiburg brewing collective that features three different types of hops. Comet, Idaho 7 and Bruce-1 provide a truckload of flavor and give Piet its very own, charming character. In true fox style, Piet is both thoughtful and balanced, but also wild and provocative. The IPA has excellent manners and delights the beer drinker with a fine aromatic play of restrained malt and brilliant hop notes.
Piet is the perfect accompaniment to all kinds of cheese dishes and we particularly enjoy homemade cheese spaetzle. Piet makes hand-scraped spaetzle, a good mix of spicy cheeses such as Gruyere or mountain cheese, fresh parsley and a good portion of fried onions for a real feast!
No animals were harmed for this beer, promise!
