The hiker flows into the glass in an impenetrable deep brown color. In the nose, strong roasted malt aromas mix with the wonderful scent of dark chocolate and a surprisingly fresh hint of hops. Coffee comes on the second sniff, as does the rich aroma of dried autumn fruits. The taste test shows a full-bodied body and a pleasant carbonation. Malty caramel and beautiful roasted aromas hit the taste buds, the sweetness of dried red fruits joins in, and spicy coffee and licorice notes underline the composition.
