The Stiebarlimbacher Roppelt brewery runs a restaurant and a beer cellar in addition to the brewery. There, their guests can dine on the finest Franconian cuisine in the restaurant all year round and in the summer in the cellar. In addition to hearty snacks and classic roasts, the brewery also offers carp from its own breeding and game that it has shot itself. The hearty cellar beer is perfectly matched to the menu.
The 4.9% strong brew is filled in bottles with swing tops and is fun even before the first sip. The full pop of the closure opens the beer enjoyment. The tempting scent of oven-fresh biscuit, spicy hay, light grain, notes of honey and hints of grass and fruit seamlessly continues the pleasure and leads into the delicious first drink. The copper-golden beer with a creamy crown lies slender on the tongue and delivers a wonderful harmony of hops and malt. Gentle notes of roasted barley combine with forest honey, fragrant hay, sourdough and beautiful spices to create an irresistible blend. The hops contribute mild citrus notes, herbal accents and the taste of freshly mown grass. In the body, the bitterness is very reserved, only in the finish does it blossom into a more dominant note.
With or without carp - this cellar beer simply tastes good!
