With Faded Needs, the Blech.Brut microbrewery from Bamberg is daring the renaissance of an old classic: The Neo Lager is a young, fresh edition of the well-known decoy.
The Decoy 2.0 is brewed with the aromatic hops Hallertauer Blanc, Mosaic and Vic Secret and has a correspondingly hoppy character. The 5.5% beer delights with a palette of finely coordinated hop nuances and is fresh and tangy on the palate. As usual, the creation from Blech.Brut appears in an extremely stylishly designed box.
Faded Needs flows into the glass in a shining gold tone, a stately crown of snow-white, creamy foam sits on the naturally cloudy beer. A fine bouquet of hops rises from the splendor of the foam and tickles the olfactory nerves with floral notes, fresh fruit, spicy pine resin and a touch of freshly mown grass. The initial taste follows the olfactory first impression on the foot and inspires with drinkable lightness and the perfect amount of carbonic acid. Faded Needs tastes of mild grain, exuberant summer fruit, blooming meadow of flowers and dewy forest.
Blech.Brut’s latest trick is like an early morning stroll through a summer idyll. The Neo Lager transports the lush beauty of nature and the pure summer feeling right on the tongue. Perfect for endless summer days and cold, wet times when summer is particularly missed.
