The new monster series fits the concept perfectly and presents us with five beers and five little beasts: a weightlifting brain with a sinister look, a one-eyed octopus, a banana peel with limbs, mouth and mustache, a green slime creature with three eyes and a pink monstrosity that shoots rainbow-colored flashes of light and boasts many eyes, sharp teeth and an impressive slime trail.

The latter creature is the mascot of the New England Pale Ale called Buy Or Die Slime. The brew is dry-hopped with Dolcita, HBC 630, and Nelson Sauvin hops and pours into the glass a delicately cloudy, golden hue. A crown of fluffy, ivory-colored foam sits atop, releasing an enticing aroma of fruity and herbal hops. The first sip follows suit, caressing the palate with a robust bouquet of tropical fruit, green grapes, ripe stone fruits, strawberries, and meadow herbs.
