The High Riser from Unverhopft is going into the second round: After the Single Hop Pale Lager was so tasty on the first try, the brewers decided to brew a second batch of it. The popular classic is refined with the Mosaic hop variety and has a tasty 5.0% alcohol content. The 27 bitter units are on the mild side and enrich the character of the beer with a harmonious and subtle bitterness.
High Riser flows into the glass in a delicately cloudy quince yellow and is traversed by a strong copper red. A snow-white crown of airy foam sits enthroned on the beer, enticingly smelling of light malt, floral hops and ripe citrus fruit. The first taste is juicy and surprisingly hoppy: on a bed of soft, light grain and fragrant hay, a wide variety of hop notes blossom and caress the palate with the aromas of sun-kissed citrus fruits, freshly mown grass, summer meadow flowers and tropical fruit. A fruity and mild finish that tastes of lemon and passion fruit concludes the beer enjoyment.
Unverhopft’s Single Hop Pale Lager is a harmoniously coordinated symphony of hops and malt that impresses with its high drinkability and fruity freshness. Exactly the right beer to quench an acute thirst for beer with style and taste!
