We all agree that beer is a source of strength and good taste. The Martin brewery from Schonungen recognized this fact a long time ago and brewed a wonderful full beer under the brewery’s own nickname "Kraftquell", which strengthens with Franconian raw materials and an amber-colored soul.
The special penned by Ulrich Martin comes with a pleasant 5.2% alcohol content and scores with a full-bodied and tasty character. Pouring into the glass, the beer fills the room with an enticing bouquet of roasted malt, freshly baked bread, exquisite biscuit, honey and caramel. A hint of grassy hops complements the olfactory play of aromas and makes you thirsty at the first sip. The beautiful look also increases the thirst for beer with a deep golden color and fine-pored, almost creamy ivory head. The taste test reveals a malty brew with skilfully placed hints of hops. Soft cereal notes ensnare the palate and deliver a potpourri of freshly baked bread, aromatic forest honey, buttery toffee, roasted nuts and fragrant hay. The hops contribute harmonious undertones of grass and a bitterness that complements the malt sweetness. A dry finish crowns the beer enjoyment.
The invigorating drink from Martin is a perfect match for down-to-earth Franconian cuisine. Snacks, roasts, dumplings, sausages, roulades or a crispy roasted breast of goose are the perfect accompaniments to beer.
