Easter is a very special time. Spring is slowly picking up speed, lush greenery is sprouting everywhere, the air is becoming milder, the days are getting longer and brighter, the birds are busily building their nests and delighting us with their excited singing. Lent is finally over and we meet up with friends and family over the Easter weekend to feast extensively and ring in the beginning of the sunny half of the year. We enjoy a whole range of specialties that are only available at Easter time: buttery yeast braids with thick raisins in them, brightly colored eggs, the first asparagus of the year and a whole mountain of different Easter sweets.
To balance out all the sugar and as a perfect accompaniment to the roast on Easter Sunday, the Molter brewery has come up with a fine red beer that is available every year around Easter. Your Sud 7 is made with raw materials from controlled organic farming and scores with its drinkable, malty character.
The naturally cloudy beer flows into the glass in a warm copper red and is decorated with a stately crown of airy, ivory-colored foam. A spicy mixture of hops and roasted malt rises to the nose and opens up the drinking pleasure. The initial drink follows with a round bouquet of caramel, roasted malt, nuts and soft grain notes.
