The barrel-aged version of Mindless Philosopher is a prime example. This beer matured for an impressive 20 months in barrels that previously held fine Barbados rum. This extended barrel aging imparts a deep, velvety intensity to the already complex Imperial Porter, elevating the aromas to a new level and introducing a warm, harmonious rum spice.

In the glass, Mindless Philosopher presents itself in an intense, almost black mahogany brown with a dense, hazelnut-brown head.
