What was the most famous brewery in Corsica missing so far? An IPA!
The Brasserie Pietra is known and loved far beyond the borders of the small island of Corsica. The classic in the range is the Biera Corsa Pietra , which is brewed with chestnut flour and has its own strong character. In the meantime, the brasserie has expanded its range and, in addition to its crowd favorite, also offers other varieties. A craft beer should of course not be missing!
The Corsican IPA from Pietra is a cold-hopped beer specialty that is prepared with two types of hops. In terms of taste, the Citra variety is particularly striking, as it gives the beer its aromatic character and wonderfully juicy fruitiness. The copper-golden beer with a fine-pored foam head exudes a wonderful scent of floral hops when poured. The smell of dewy summer flower meadow mixes in the nose with exotic fruits to create a tempting potpourri. The first drink presents a finely balanced beer that combines hops and malt into a gorgeous composition. Notes of passion fruit, pineapple and mango explode on the tongue and caress the palate with fruity freshness. A hint of lime and a generous bitterness round off the play of aromas.
The Corsican IPA is a round, drinkable IPA that brings the character of Corsica into your glass.
