When the adventurous brewers at the French brewery ICE BREAKER came across some delicious pretzels, they had two options: they could eat the fine pretzels with a little butter or mustard, or they could go on a long hike into a dark forest and enjoy the pretzels Use as trailblazing crumbs so as not to get lost on the way home. However, since brewers rarely do what is expected of them, the young wild ones decided on option 3 and made a beer out of the pastry without further ado.
Hansel & Bretzel is a powerful Imperial Stout with a fairytale alcohol content of 10.5% and a few extra ingredients: In addition to hops, malt and yeast, pretzels, cocoa chips, salt and nutmeg ensure a stunning taste. The French magic potion is presented in a mystical mahogany brown in the glass and has a small crown of hazelnut-brown foam on the opaque body. It smells of strong cocoa and fine dark chocolate with sea salt. The initial taste reveals a velvety soft mouthfeel and the voluminous stature of the beer. Doughy pretzel notes meet gently melting chocolate, roasted coffee beans and salted caramel on the palate. A touch of nutmeg gives the beer a festive flavor and skilfully rounds off the magical taste experience.
A beer so good that it would have appeased even the angry witch after Hansel and Gretel nibbled on their gingerbread house.
