Happy, hoppy Oat Witbier.
Are you wondering why a Polish brewery brews a Witbier? Well, we suspect that’s because this beer was created in collaboration with the French Brasserie du Pays Flamand. France is in close proximity to Belgium, and the good Belgian beers and beer styles are enjoyed all over the world. The fresh, summery Wit, for example. An excellent example in this category is Król Lata from Pinta. It is brewed with oat flakes, which give the light beer a heavenly smooth texture.
The French-Polish creation presents itself in a pale gold glass and is unfiltered. Two other special ingredients are revealed in the scent of the beer: a tempting orange bouquet is evidence of the use of fine orange zest and the aromatic hops Citra. The taste is correspondingly great: juicy orange pampers the palate with wonderful freshness and tangy fruitiness. The body is light-footed and aromatic. A touch of coriander gives the beer a very special note and rounds off the fruity taste experience in a delicately spicy way.
By the way, Król Lata means king of summer - very apt, in our opinion! With a cool bottle of Król Lata in your hand, you will indeed feel like the king (or queen) of summer on hot days!
