The IPA Oto Mata from Pinta is a homage to the Japanese cherry blossom. Year after year, the countless cherry trees in Japan enchant with their pink blossoms. Festivals are organized all over the country, people flock from near and far to the cherry trees and celebrate this miracle of nature.
There are also cherry trees in Poland, but what fascinates the brewers of Browar Pinta so much about Japan is not only the cherry blossom and the great devotion with which it is celebrated every year, but also the country itself. Japan combines restraint and subtlety an extremely strong-willed, wild character - just like Oto Mata.
The Polish IPA with a Japanese touch is brewed with rice flakes and also impresses with the full hop power of three highly aromatic hop varieties. The result is a pale golden beer with a slight cloudiness and a stately, white head. The fine scent of tropical fruits, strong hops and a hint of citrus tempts you to take the first sip. This reveals a light-footed body with moderate bitterness and wonderfully refreshing fruit notes. Tropical fruits such as mango, passion fruit and pineapple tickle the palate, and a fine malt undertone forms a good basis. Thanks to its fruity, fresh lightness, Oto Mata is extremely drinkable.
Oto Mata, written もう一度 in Japanese, means something like “again”. Oto Mata is brewed just as tirelessly as the cherry trees bloom every year.
