Even if the title of the Far Away Galaxy beer sounds like traveling to distant universes and space exploration, the Pinta brewery reflects on its roots with this creation. "Back to the roots" is the motto that is to be put into practice with a rediscovery of classic hop varieties.
The Galaxy variety is one of Australia’s most widely used hop varieties and is celebrated and valued for its juicy notes of peach, guava and orange. The latest creation from Pinta focuses on the Galaxy and brings out every subtle nuance of taste of the green gold. In order to underline the exuberant fruitiness, the brewers have also incorporated a gentle acidity, which makes the India Pale Ale an interesting tart IPA. The taste is also supported by the Talus and Flex hop varieties.
Far Away Galaxy flows into the glass in a delicate cloudy straw gold and is adorned with a hand’s breadth of white, creamy foam. An appealing acidity dominates both the fragrance and the initial taste: notes of sun-kissed tropical fruits and freshly mown grass are accompanied by a crisp acidity that elegantly balances the juicy sweetness of the fruit. A strong bitterness skilfully rounds off the play of aromas.
