The trucking scene is a vibrant part of American culture. Much-needed goods are transported from one coast to the other and everywhere in between, thanks to the industrious men and women who go about their daily lives on the vast country’s never-ending roads. Their monstrous trucks transport raw materials, food, goods - everything your heart desires and keeps daily life going.
A slightly smaller version of these trucks recently drove into the yard of the Pinta brewery and delivered a valuable commodity that the brewers were eagerly awaiting. Sacks of the finest hops were stacked close together. Not just any hop, but the classic American Idaho 7 variety, which gave its taste to the very first India Pale Ales on the craft beer scene.
From this exquisite delivery, the Browar Pinta brewed their Beer of the Month for September: a juicy Cold IPA aptly named Truck from Idaho. To add character to their India Pale Ale, they combined the dry, fruity freshness of Idaho 7 with the white fruit notes of Nelson Sauvin. With combined forces, they form an aroma profile composed of pink grapefruit, tangy citrus zest, peach, melon and a precise, clear bitterness.
Truck From Idaho is a refreshing IPA with favorite beer potential!
