The tin shines in matte gold, curved handwriting in muted red dances across the front, no image or ornament distracts from the simple elegance - Amazing Haze from Stigbergets Bryggeri inspires us with its timeless design alone. However, in the golden robe there is a stately India Pale Ale, which also knows how to inspire.
The 6.5% strong beer is brewed with an abundance of five different types of grain and has a correspondingly soft, velvety mouthfeel. The hop varieties Mosaic, Citra and Ekuanot are responsible for the exuberance of juicy fruit notes and the harmoniously balanced bitterness. The brewery’s own yeast culture cleverly rounds off the play of aromas and gives the special beer the finishing touch.
Amazing Haze pours into the glass in an expectedly heavily cloudy honey gold. A hand’s breadth of ivory-colored foam sits enthroned on the heavily clouded body and smells of candied citrus peel, pine resin and tropical fruit. The first taste opens a real firework of hoppy excellence that bombards the palate with grass, grapefruit, orange peel, mango, resin, tangerine, pineapple, floral notes and distinctive bitterness. The hop explosion is supported by a soft malt base, which contributes notes of oats and hints of freshly baked bread to the aromatic interplay.
