Wired is one of those beers that are no longer available from Bereta Brewing Co. We were able to secure a small remainder of the extremely popular Double Dry Hopped New England Double IPA and are happy to share it with you! However, if you want to enjoy this fabulous beer, you should be quick, as our specimens are also slowly disappearing.
Before you take it, however, we would like to briefly introduce you to the DDH NE DIPA: Wired is brewed with the hop varieties Talus Cryo, Simcoe, Sabro and Idaho 7 and after the first hopping is also cold-hopped. The result of this complex process is a creamy beer in a warm amber color. A copper-red shimmer pervades the naturally cloudy beer, on which a small crown of dense-pored foam piles up. The first incentive to drink is the fine scent of sun-drenched stone fruits: ripe apricots, velvety peaches and golden mirabelle plums can be found in the scent and taste. The initial taste reveals a round, finely balanced beer with a silky-soft mouthfeel. Juicy notes of stone fruits meet spicy pine resin and harmonious malt aromas on the palate. A pointed bitterness is added during the course of the beer enjoyment and leads to a crisp, bitter, fruity finish.
Wired is a very successful double IPA with great fruit notes, resinous spiciness and skilfully integrated bitterness.
