Larks (not to be confused with the deciduous larches) are songbirds whose captivating and multifaceted song has delighted and inspired mankind for centuries. Shakespeare wrote about them, there are folk songs about them, and proverbs about the lark. While some of these fascinating creatures merely produce sweet melodies, other species of the family are able to perfectly imitate the sounds of their surroundings. The feathered singers mainly imitate the voices of other bird species, but there are always animals that can also imitate man-made sounds. The reason we are going into detail about a songbird here is because it inspired two friends to start their own brewery.
We are talking about the Moon Lark brewery, founded by Pawel Masłowski and a friend who was also a beer enthusiast. Pawel learned his craft in the hallowed halls of Browar Pinta. One night in the moonlight, when he heard the melodic song of a lark, a great name for a brewery came to mind. We suspect that he had already dreamed of having his own brewery before and that momentous moment made the decision to make his dreams come true. The lark, which is responsible for all this, can now be found in the brewery's name and in its logo, which shows a simplified lark, a star and a crescent moon. Ambitious as he is, Pawel not only set about putting together a range of beers, he also decided that in addition to barley juice, he should also produce mead and hard seltzer. These optimistic plans were implemented step by step and today Moon Lark is a small factory that serves alcohol fans of all kinds with the finest, handmade products.
At this point, of course, we're talking about the beer, and it's worth taking a closer look at the delicious brews from Moon Lark. Or tasting them. Pawel and his team have set out to pack the maximum possible amount of hops into many of their brews and spare no expense or effort when it comes to their masterpieces. Brews like Prime prove that the brewmasters can handle hops in excess, but the less hopped beers are also worth trying. With its creations, the Moon Lark brewery wants to inspire people, entertain them, arouse their curiosity, and open their taste buds to new worlds of flavors. Great importance is placed on the best raw materials, smooth and gentle processing of these, on craftsmanship and excellent taste.
