Depth is something that attracts us to people as much as it is to conversations, books, and bodies of water. We have a fascination for individuals capable of feeling and articulating complex emotions; we love plunging headfirst into fundamental discussions about God and the world over a good beer; we admire photographs whose contrasts of light and dark make them seem almost three-dimensional; and we prefer swimming in those spots in lakes or the sea where, instead of the bottom, only infinite, deep blue can be seen. Depth is also something that attracts us to brewing—and this is where Deepness comes in. The Baltic Porter, created by Moon Lark, bears depth not only in its name but also in its character.

Deepness boasts a voluminous 9.0% ABV, touching body and soul with its fire. A complex base of German and Polish malts forms a compact body, bathing the brew in an opaque midnight black and imbuing it with a bouquet of dark aromas. Moon Lark’s creation smells and tastes intensely of strongly roasted malt, melting chocolate, creamy caramel, mocha, grandma’s plum compote, and crisp, oven-fresh black bread.
