Sometimes it just has to be a barrel!
There are occasions when a conventional bottle of beer is simply not enough: At celebrations and events, at a barbecue with friends, at a morning pint with the regulars, for a birthday or at Easter, at the next football game or on a fishing weekend, it is simply more fun when you can let your beer out of the keg yourself. For matters of this kind, the Zur Sonne brewery from Bischberg has a practical 5-liter keg in its range. The barrel contains the fine lager beer from the Sonnenbrauerei. This Franconian-style specialty is one of the brewery’s most popular beers and combines wonderfully full-bodied malt with delicately bitter hops. The tasty drop tastes great on every occasion and is therefore perfect for selling in larger quantities.
The light archetype is based on a recipe that used to be home brewed. The beer then became so popular that it is now part of the core range of the Zur Sonne brewery. The lager flows into the glass in a brilliant gold tone and has a decorative crown on a crystal-clear body. A fine smell of bread invites you to drink and the first sip reflects the first olfactory impression one-to-one. Roasted grain, oven-fresh bread, creamy honey and aromatic herbs combine to create a heavenly composition that tempts you to share and enjoy.
