A very special beer specialty comes from Libertus. In order to bring a breath of fresh air into the world of fine beer spirits, the brewery founded the Craftakt Distilling label in collaboration with the Jobst distillery from Hammelburg. With a lot of expertise and passion, even finer brandies are made here from fine craft beers.
Hopped Revolution is distilled from the hop-intensive Pale Ale C4. C4 is a real hop bomb and is made from a secret composition of four highly aromatic hops. Hop varieties brewed. A fine interplay of aromas from exotic mango and tangy citrus fruit makes the Pale Ale a true specialty and the perfect basis for an excellent beer brandy.
Hopped Revolution flows into the shot glass in crystal-clear splendor and smells delicately of fruity hops and soft malt. We recommend that you do not enjoy the beer brandy straight away, but rather in small sips. In this way, its full aroma develops optimally and you can enjoy the complex range of flavors. Lemony hop notes meet an exotic fruitiness, the malt is velvety on the tongue and delivers a soft caramel note that caresses the palate. The 40% alcohol content is cleverly integrated into the diverse flavors and is only noticeable because it warms your mouth and stomach.
Hopped Revolution is a fine beer brandy that stands out from its rather clumsy, uninspired competition thanks to its fruity lightness and soft mouthfeel.
