Steamworks Hula Haze Tropical IPA is a South Seas dream in liquid form: the juicy India Pale Ale is brewed with fresh pineapple and concentrated peach juice and inspires with great fruit notes and a wonderfully summery flair. The aroma-intensive hops Azacca, Cashmere, Simcoe and El Dorado support the powerful fruit character and also contribute a crisp bitterness that balances the sweet fruit.
Hula Haze flows into the glass in the color of sun-drenched oranges and has a fine-pored crown of creamy foam on the naturally cloudy body. A tempting scent of golden pineapple, ripe peach and other tropical fruits mixes in the nose with spicy resin, gentle malt and a hint of citrus. The irresistible first impression continues in the initial taste: A fruity tidal wave floods the palate and tickles the taste receptors on the tongue with notes of yellow stone fruit, pineapple, papaya, mango, peach, coconut and grapefruit. The brewers have worked out every nuance of the hops and woven them into a juicy fruit cocktail. The malt contributes a soft, silky mouthfeel and fine aromas of freshly baked biscuits. A subtle undertone of pine resin and a clean bitterness underline the summery play of aromas.
