Since brewers are generally peace-loving people, their weapon is the hops. The green umbels are bursting with strong aromas and bring bitterness, depth and life to the beer.
For its latest work, the Spanish brewery La Pirata has selected some particularly aromatic hops and has given its beer the full hops power. Every single taste nuance is elicited from the hops using the technique of cold hops, the result is a full-bodied Hazy Double IPA with a powerful 7.5% alcohol content and surprisingly mild, subtly balanced bitterness. A whole range of different types of malt and cereal flakes skillfully balance the variety of hops and bring a velvety softness to the beer.
Iron Cage flows into the glass in a naturally cloudy amber tone and crowns itself with a large amount of fine-pored, fragrant foam. A fresh nose of fruit with notes of tropical fruit makes you want to take the first sip. The consistency is on point: creamy and velvety soft, the full-bodied beer laps the palate and tickles the taste buds with juicy fruit aromas. Hops in their most beautiful form!
