For this cloudy creation, the brewers from Rodinny Pivovar Zichovec brought their friends from the Černý Potoka brewery on board. A New England IPA was created in collaboration with the small cuckoo brewery. This beer style is one of the favorites of the brewers’ collaboration and is characterized by its naturally cloudy body and the variety of fresh fruit notes.
Zichovecs Stolen Haze is a Double Dryhopped NEIPA, which owes its fruity juiciness to the two hop varieties Citra and Amarillo. Oat flakes and wheat malt ensure a wonderfully soft, almost creamy mouthfeel. The hoppy beer presents itself in a cloudy, sunny yellow in the glass and crowns itself with a head that smells of mango, pineapple, passion fruit and floral hops. The initial taste is like a sip of fruit cocktail: juicy notes of fresh mango, golden pineapple, sun-ripened orange and soft apricot flood the palate and combine with a touch of pine resin to form an irresistible mixture. The malt enriches the aromas with fine caramel notes and the oat flakes are reflected in the taste. The culinary experience is rounded off by a portion of citrus fruits: grapefruit, mandarin and a hint of lemon peel complement the sweet fruitiness with liveliness and subtle acidity. The finish is crisp and bitter and tastes like fruity hops.
Stolen Haze is tasty for everyone who likes to drink hoppy beers with a fruity character and moderate bitterness.
