Extrapolation is the English word for extrapolation and the title of a brand-new brew from Gekko Brewing. The French brewery has teamed up with Totally Natural Solutions from the UK to brew a superlative Double IPA.

Extrapolations brings a hefty 8.0% ABV to the table, combining it with a respectable 31 bittering units and copious amounts of hops. The varieties Citrulicious, Hopburst Magnifico, Hopgain Floe, and Nectaron conjure up a whole firework of flavors in the beer. This green gold is supported by a dose of hop oil: a futuristic ingredient that maximizes the aroma. Lots of hops, lots of flavor!

This rich collaboration presents itself in a delicately clouded copper gold in the glass and is crowned with a hand’s breadth of fine, creamy white foam. A cocktail of freshly squeezed fruit tickles the tip of the nose and entices you to take a sip. A taste unleashes a tidal wave of tropical fruit, overwhelming the palate with an irresistible blend of pineapple, mango, passion fruit, and melon. Tangy citrus zest completes the intense experience, which culminates in a silky-smooth, fruity finish.
