Grandpa's Favorite has been with me from the very beginning of my own brewery, just like my Grandpa Franz. Before I founded Franconia's smallest brewery, I brewed at home for my family and friends. As a native Franconian, there was really only one thing that would do for my first brew: a Kellerbier. And not just any Kellerbier, but the best Kellerbier. I achieved my goal with flying colors and, above all, blew my grandpa away with the Kellerbier. He was so enthusiastic that he demanded a constant supply, thus giving the starting signal for the crazy little brewery. A toast to Grandpa Franz and a toast to Grandpa's Favorite, a Franconian Kellerbier in magnificent amber gold. A snow-white head sits atop the gently clouded body and entices you with notes of caramel and oven-fresh bread crust. This first sip reveals a smooth composition of soft malt, floral hops, delicate fruitiness, and a pleasant bitterness that not only Grandpa Franz enjoys.
