The two craft breweries Cierzo Brewing and PalmKids are located on opposite sides of their home country: Cierzo is located in Zaragoza near the east coast, and PalmKids is based in Pontevedra on the west coast. However, the great distance hasn’t stopped the two small breweries from joining forces: The teams have put together a fantastic collaboration and joined forces to create Belzz & Friends.
This West Coast IPA brings a brisk 6.2% ABV to the glass and draws its juicy aroma from the hop varieties Cascade, Kohatu, Topaz, and Vic Secret. This illustrious blend of flavorful cones creates a hop-forward masterpiece, presenting a delicately cloudy grain yellow with a dense, fluffy head.
In keeping with the traditional flavor profile of a classic IPA from the (American) West Coast, Belzz & Friends boasts a composition of citrus-fresh fruits, spicy pine resin, tropical notes, and a hint of herbs. This Spanish-Spanish collaboration combines juicy citrus fruits, resinous spice, and tropical fruits with a crisp bitterness and a creamy texture thanks to the use of wheat and oat flakes.
Belzz & Friends is the perfect beer to kick off the evening and goes great with cheese and fresh fruit. Our favorite pairing: mac and cheese with butter, Gruyère, and a golden-brown crown of melted cheese and breadcrumbs.
