"Tipsy" is the English equivalent of the German term "beschwipst" (stirred up) and describes that fabulous state when you’ve had a beer or two and the alcohol is just starting to go to your head. When the world rocks gently, words tumble from your mouth as easily as ripe fruit from a tree, when we’re overcome by a great love for everyone and everything, and we’re floating on pink cotton clouds—then we’re tipsy.

A beer that will catapult you there without further ado and directly is Tipsy Land from Les Intenables. The French brewery brings us a double cold-hopped India Pale Ale with a robust 6.2% alcohol content, which will quickly get most people a little tipsy. The lively brew is flavored with Citra Cryo, Nelson Sauvin, and Zappa hops. It presents itself in the glass with dense clouds and the color of ripe mirabelle plums – and smells like one too! Notes of yellow stone fruits tickle the tip of the nose and entice you to take a sip. This continues the successful first impression and delights with a composition of mirabelle plums, white grapes, and vineyard peaches. A harmonious bitterness harmoniously cushions the explosion of fruit.
