In their Crazy Lines series, the team at the Polish brewery Nepomucen dedicates themselves to hop-forward beer styles. In a series of over 120 beers to date, the brewers indulge their hoppiest dreams, packing each can to the brim with the finest hops. The creations in the Crazy Lines series are brewed only once and are strictly limited. Each one is intense, hoppy, and modern.
Crazy Lines #120: Flag of Poland is another example. Browar Nepomucen pays tribute to its homeland with a hop-packed delicacy. This Hazy IPA is brewed with two Polish hop varieties: Amora Preta and Książęcy. While the former delights with blackberry notes alongside tropical fruits, pine resin, and citrus, the latter scores points with exotic hints and tastes of coconut, mango, pineapple, and citrus.
In the glass, the brew presents itself as a densely clouded, old gold with a fine-pored, white head. An enticing aroma of coconut, ripe pineapple, tangy grapefruit, and sun-drenched lemon entices the first sip. The flavor profile follows suit, caressing the palate with creamy coconut milk, pink grapefruit, and juicy pineapple. Książęcy's flavor profile is truly impressive, offering a taste experience that instantly transports us to a picturesque tropical island.
