Coffee.
Coffee is a beverage that, at the mere sound of the word, makes some of us revel in its beauty. We dream of opening the tin and being enveloped by the intoxicating aroma of freshly ground beans. We hear the soft whirring sound when the coffee maker has finished its work and brewed the exquisite beverage. In our minds, we pour ourselves a large cup of the midnight-black delicacy, top it with thick, creamy milk foam, and perhaps stir in a spoonful of sugar. Pure bliss from the first sip to the last!
Breweries have also developed a taste for it, and we're not just talking about the hardworking men and women behind the brewing kettles enjoying a cup or two in the morning. Instead, they're creating heavenly concoctions that showcase the morning specialty in all its glory. Nepo Brewing from Poland is one such example.
The brewery has created a Coffee Milk Stout that captures the charm of a milky coffee in a bottle – even though the brew is the color of black coffee. The aroma and flavor are a luxurious composition of freshly roasted coffee beans, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate, and creamy caramel. A duo of barley and oat malts provides a satisfying texture, while the lactose contributes a gentle milky sweetness.
