After Queen Beer, a collaboration brew with the finest flower honey from the pen of Espiga and her friends from the pub ArteSants, sold like hot cakes and was sold out after a short time, the brewery decided to brew a winter version of the crowd favorite.
The Queen Beer Winter Honey Ale comes in a slightly smaller format of 0.33 liters and flows into the glass in a shimmering copper-red gold tone. The scent of freshly baked honey cake rises from the slightly tinted head of fluffy foam and skilfully entices the first sip. The first sip reveals a dry character that brings soft honey sweetness and floral hops into harmonious harmony. Full-bodied notes of creamy blossom honey enchant the palate. The hops underline the play of aromas with hints of earthy herbs and the juicy taste of freshly harvested hop cones. The impressive 7.0% alcohol content, which is dangerously well hidden between the velvety flavor facets, ensures a pleasant warmth in body and soul. The triad of barley, wheat malt and oat flakes gives the beer a good stature and a hint of hearty grain.
Espigas Queen Beer Winter Honey Ale is a playful festival beer for the cold season that celebrates honey in all its facets and presents it from a completely different perspective.
